New at this.

This is the first time I have written anything to a blog.
So this will be short just to see how it works.

I enjoyed seeing all the new faces at the last meeting, the group has developed nicely and no more will be accepted now.
The next meeting, date will be confirmed at a later date, will be at the hall so we can see what space will be suitable for one and all.

I´ll attach a picture of one of my stoneware jugs and a necklace for you who do not know what I do.

Why our name?

We are all artists using a variety of media, and we will be exhibiting together for the first time between 1st and 10th May 2009 for North Somerset Arts Week. We will be found during these dates at Worle Community Centre, between the hours of 10am and 4pm.

The Community Centre is a historic chapel (complete with eighteenth century well just discovered during recent renovation works) and Services continue to be held in the Ebenezer Hall. Our header photo is the lovely old, weathered sign above the chapel entrance.

We will gradually be acquainting you with who we are and what we do, our art, and as a taster I can tell you that we will include ceramics, fused glass, installations, jewellery, paintings, photography, and textiles among our exhibits.

If variety is the spice of life then we will be delivering a rare curry of creativity next May!
